Tell Me More
Cruden Bay sits east on the cost of Scotland just north of Aberdeen. Just a two hours drive from St Andrews, golf has been played at Cruden Bay since 1791 making it one of the oldest courses in the world. The original course, on the present site, was commissioned by the Great North of Scotland Railway (GNSR) following the expansion of the railways at the end of the 19th century, designed by Old Tom Morris of St Andrews, and opened in 1899. Cruden Bay is a traditional links-style course that offers a good-ole fashioned test of golf that shouldn’t be missed.
